Web designer, food truck owner, and full-time work in progress
For most of my life I followed the script: get the degree, get the job, don’t make waves. Then an exchange year in Thailand sat me next to people building lives that ignored the script completely, and I couldn’t unsee it.
What followed was ten years of chasing that feeling. Solo backpacking, a dive job in the Philippines, working holidays across Australia and New Zealand, a food truck built from scratch back in Japan. But every version of freedom I caught was tied to a place, and I kept escaping one trap only to settle into a nicer one.
Now I’m going all in on the real thing: a life that isn’t tied to any one place. The newsletter is where I show the actual build, the parts I’ve figured out and the parts I haven’t. If that’s the freedom you’re quietly wanting too, come along.
